System Test Manager


System Test Group - Kongsberg, Norway
The System Test Group is organized under the ER Projects, Department of System Engineering and is responsible for testing of the complete subsea systems, typically System Integration Test, Shallow Water Test, Stack up Test, Function Test  and Full Scale Thermal Test.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the System Test Manager has a central position in the project with responsibility for HSE, budget, cost reporting, test engineering, test planning and execution, customer handling and reporting.

Main tasks HSE responsible for the test during the execution phasePlan and lead System Tests from start to endManage the System Test scope of work according to agreed scope with our customer, and in accordance with FMC instructions, policies and proceduresPrepare test documentation, such as, test procedure, test layout, test bill of material (BOM) , test schedule and finally the system test reportIdentify and ensure that project delivery, test equipment, and spares /consumables are available at test siteIdentify personnel requirementsLead daily meetings with customers and test personnel
Preferred qualifications and personal skillsGraduate engineer, engineer or similarExperience from engineering, test execution, workshop or offshore workDrive, keep-at-it attitude, desire for renewal and new challengesInterest in learning new technologies and a desire for personal development within technical management in a demanding, world-leading organisation

The place of hire will be Kongsberg/Asker, but during test preparation and execution the work place will be the test site selected for the project.
