MPS Core Components is a global group under FMC's global Manifold and Pipeline Systems product line. The group is responsible for Business Management, Engineering and Delivery of Connectors, Manifold Valves, Subsea Chokes and Engineered Pipe and Fittings. The team has operations in Norway, USA, Singapore and Brazil. We are currently searching for a Global Manager ? MPS Engineered Pipe and Fittings for our team. The Global Manager for MPS Engineered Pipe and Fittings will ensure that MPS Global Product Line has a standard product catalog covering EPF components/parts, along with associated design guidelines in place for use by the MPS Regional Product Line teams. He/she will also ensure that the optimal supply chain is in place for supply of EPF parts/components. We are looking for a person with 5 years experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role in the areas of product/materials management. BS in engineering, preferably with a specialization in materials engineering (metallurgy) preferred. Candidate must have a very good understanding of technology. This is a global role with significant international interaction, so a strong ability to build teams and bring people together across different locations is a must. The role will require a fair amount of travel. Main tasks: * Develop, implement and maintain a standard product catalog covering EPF components/parts for the MPS Global Product Line * Develop, implement and maintain associated design guidelines for EPF components/parts for use by the MPS Regional Product Line teams * Ensure that the optimal supply chain is in place for supply of EPF parts/components. * This includes o Commercial Management; including, but not limited to; financial performance, product catalog, product roadmaps, strategic planning o Technical Management; including, but not limited to: research and development activities, technical product maintenance, technical product catalog o Delivery Management; including, but not limited to sales and operations planning, configuration/application engineering, sourcing and procurement, manufacturing/fabrication, assembly and test, logistics Qualifications and personal qualities required: * University degree (Bachelor) with specialization in materials engineering (metallurgy) * 5 years of work experience, preferably with at least 2 years in supervisory role * Demonstrated leadership skills, a strong ability to build and maintain effective networks and relations at all levels is crucial. * Excellent negotiating skills and interpersonal skills * Good written and verbal communications skills We can offer: * Interesting work tasks in an inspiring, international technical environment which is one of the world leaders in its field * An informal and inspiring working environment together with some of the most experienced experts in the subsea industry * Potential for personal and professional development for result orientated, skilled employees * Competitive terms and conditions with excellent pension and insurance schemes The place of work will be FMC Norway, Kongsberg For more detailed information, please contact Fredrik Glette******or Paulina Slabon, HR Dept, tel.
