Business Development Department - Asker, Norway FMC Technologies is a leading global provider of technology solutions for the energy industry. We are currently looking for a Business Development Analyst to help support our growing business in the region. The position reports to the Manager Business Development. Main Tasks: * Prepare strategic analysis, market/industry analysis, business cases and competitor analysis * Regional resource for M&A activities, including strategic opportunity screening and assessment, synergy assessment and financial modeling * Assist in regional business strategy development * Sales and product strategy activities, together with relevant line organizations * Senior Management reporting and presentation assistance Preferred qualifications and Personal skills: Required formal education: * Master Degree in Business Administration or similar, or Master Degree in an Engineering discipline if combined with relevant work experience * Strong academic results Required experience: * Preferably 4-6 years consulting, investment banking or relevant industry experience * Commercial experience from market/industry analysis, strategy/product development and/or M&A would be beneficial Personal traits: * Team player with high integrity and drive * Commercially minded with developed analytical skills * Developed communication and presentation skills * Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and projects * Strong command of English, written and verbally We can offer: * Interesting work tasks in an international and technically advanced multi-discipline company which is one of the world leaders in its field * An informal and stimulating work environment together with a high technical standard * Potential for personal and professional development for result oriented, skilled employees * Competitive terms and conditions with good pension and insurance schemes The place of work will be Asker, Norway.
