Analyst / Senior Analyst - Statoil ASAGlobal Business Services (GBS) is Statoil’s internal supplier of global business services within IT, finance, facility management, human resources and communication functions. GBS’ ambition is to be a global business partner enabling value and change. The sector Accounting and Controlling (ACC) in Global Deliveries (GLD) is responsible for delivering accounting and controlling services where global processes are required. The sector consists of six departments: Internal Trade and Cost Allocations, Closing and Consolidation, Performance Management Functional Support (PMFS), Accounting Natural Gas, Accounting Oil Trade and Joint Venture Audit. PMFS is responsible for: A&C master data global processes, functional support to Management Information System (MIS) and Financial Analytics (FA) tools. MIS is the system used to support the Performance Management process in Statoil. It enables management to set and to follow up the performance goals at all organisational levels. It helps management and business controllers with performance monitoring through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and relevant reports. Organisational units build in their ambition and adjust goals to optimise performance and achieve strategic goals. The system covers five perspectives: people and organisation, HSE, operation, market and finance. The finance perspective in MIS is closely related to Financial Analytics. FA solution is a fully web-based tool, which provides standardisation of management financial reporting across all business areas and legal entities in the Statoil Group.
